Irina Moscu is a multipassionate interdisciplinary artist.
Trained initially as an architect and graphic designer, her fields of interest expanded to stage design, costume design, performance art, installation art and theatre directing.
Her first works were independent theatre projects. Now her canvas has expanded working with important Romanian and European Theatres.
She works in theatre on all scales, opera, film, music concerts, runway shows and events.
In the last years she wrote and performed her own pieces at The National Museum of Contemporary Art and in The National Theatre Festival and continues to be interested in this field of expression.
Some of her latest projects were nominated for Best Stage and Costume Design by The Romanian National Union of Theatre Artists and by the Hungarian Theatre Critics Association.
Irina has received multiple awards and nominations, including the The Romanian Architects Order Prize.
